FAQ:

How old must one be to begin Scuba Diving classes? According to SSI standards you must be at least 10 years old to complete the Open Water Diver Course. For those tht aren't quite old enough we have a very fun and exciting Scuba Rangers program that will teach you all the same skills, just in a pool enviroment only.
How often are classes taught? Our Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water classes start once a month. See our calendar for more info.
How many students will there be in my class? Open Water Classes will vary from 6-10, but if classes are larger they will be split into 2 or more groups.
How much will it cost to get certified?
Our fees for the Open Water course are $195 per person. This includes the cost of the class materials, Instructors time and use of our rental gear for the pool. The Open Water fee varies by location, so you get to choose your expense there. Each student must have a complete snorkeling gear package that includes: Scuba Quality-mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves, knife and a mesh gear bag. These costs can vary and it is very important that you get the proper gear for you. This can make or break your experience, so get the right gear the first time!
Who goes on your dive trips? Everyone! We get a great mix of divers on almost every trip we have. This is what makes us a truly special dive center. Divers like us, and they love to travel with us. This is why we have the busiest travel schedule of any dive shop around. Call around and see for yourself.
Where should I go diving? As you can see from our full travel schedule that we dive at every chance we get. If you need some help picking a dive destination, give us a call and we cen help find something that fits your needs. We can now book your vacation for you and probably save you some money while were at it.
Why are some trips more expensive?the price of certain trips are based on the quality of the accomodations, included meals and transportation, distance and how much diving will be done. The best thing to do is ask as many questions as you can to make sure there are no added cost during you trip.
Why should I purchase my equipment from a local dive store? If your dive store is much like ours, it has become the center of your dive career. We offer great trips and store functions that allow divers of all levels to get together and really enjoy this great sport. Your local dive store is also the center for personalized service, leadership, education and travel knowledge. Your support allows for continued service and growth which will only make your dive expereince more enjoyable. All online and mail order retailers are not authorized dealers, or the products are only under warranty if purchased through your local dealer. This means that if you have any problems with the gear you purchased, you will be stuck with it.
